[ name ] Han Solo
[ fandom ] Star Wars
[ canon point ] Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
[ age ] 28
[ personality ]
Han practically embodies every aspect of the word 'scoundrel'. He's quick on his feet, knows how to manipulate a situation to his advantage, isn't afraid to get his hands dirty if the money's right, and his sense of morality is at best skewed. Han is confident, self-assured, and charismatic. He has a bravado that often reads as arrogant, and he knows what he's good at and he's going to make sure you know it too.
Han has a very dry sense of humor, as well as a large cockiness about him that often lends itself to bravery that goes beyond the point of stupidity. He has a very direct method of approaching things, and a pragmatic view of the world. His mind's not easily swayed, and his stubborn streak has been known to get him into trouble more times than what he'd care to admit. Han's also a risk taker, he enjoys gambling, drinking, and shooting, and most importantly, attracting the firefights that come along for the ride with those vices.
He's also rude and at times condescending to people who have yet to earn his respect or trust. He's not the type to open up easily to someone, and prefers keeping people at a distance. He does have his softer side, however, usually triggered by guilt. Typically, he looks out for number one, but at times, if he grows to care for people, he's not afraid to stick his neck out for his loved ones, even though he'll never admit to doing so.

[ appearance ]
Han is a handsome guy with a smirk, brown hair and eyes. He typically wears a flight jacket or vest, a utility belt and a blaster. Here's a picture for reference!
[ abilities ]
While Han lacks the supernatural or Force-sensitive powers of his friends in canon, he has a wide variety of practical, useful skills that served him well while fighting off an evil Imperialist navy. Han's a crack pilot, arguably the best in the Republic fleet, and he has no reservations about making that fact known. He's also a notoriously quick draw, and often uses his ambidexterous nature to his advantage in order to have the first shot in a gun fight. Among these, he's also a skilled mechanic and general tinkerer, he knows how to fix things and to fix them cheaply. When it comes to strategizing he can be innovative and unorthodox, and his gut hunches usually turn out right.

When I said I wanted to drink until I couldn't see straight, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind...
Have to say, the way you people treat company around here makes me think maybe hangin' around on the Death Star wasn't so bad a deal.
Anyone mind telling me just what exactly's going on? And where the stang is my ship? I've got appointments to make, ones that'll mean my hide if they ain't made.

Unless that guy was him, apparently.
"I don't know how I keep endin' up in these places," Han muttered to himself, lifting his body and firing a few shots at the opponents before ducking back down again, "Must be my award-winnin' personality."
He sighed. Counted to three. Heard the shots fired from the other side of the room. Got back up. Returned the gesture. He shuffled the damn deck again. Ten rounds just wasn't enough. Not when there was more than ten guys, even he wasn't that good.
"Looks like this is gonna be a long night of makin' new friends," he stated to no one in particular.
